Hans "Dutch" Dekkers

Hans "Dutch" Dekkers (born 1960) leads a dedicated team of highly qualified professionals in their fight against illiteracy. The seed for his organization Dynaread Special Education Corporation sprouted in 2006. All of his background, passion for problem solving combined with compassion, drew him into the world of Dyslexia. Extensive research resulted in the rudimentary development of a method now fully matured, patented, and marketed under the brand name Dynaread.

His earlier professional life

In 1979 Hans commenced on a 20 year professional career in aviation (F16 Fighter Pilot and Weapons Instructor) for the Royal Netherlands Air Force. He worked extensively with the Netherlands Aerospace Laboratory on diagnostics, analytics, and innovation. In 1989 He served three years as Chief Pilot for a small Aviation Operation (AMA) serving Papua tribal communities and was privileged to professionalize their entire operations. This work attracted international attention and was filmed and documented for Discovery Channel and aired on TV for well over 10 years in over 70 countries. After Indonesia, He flew for seven years with KLM/Transavia on Boeing 737. In 1999 He left aviation and switched to Strategy and Business Consulting.

Ever since children came into his life (he is a Dad of 5, with the oldest born in 1993), he has been passionately dedicated to the success of children. He is married with Rikki Dekkers, and has been together since 1992.
