Mangaathaa ("Ullae, Veliyea") - This game is considered as gambling in India, played in rural areas and outskirts illegally. This game is played with using the Cards. This game is popularly know as "Ullae, Veliyea" This game is played by two persons at a time by betting money illegally. This game also played by boys at schools leisure time by betting pencils, erasers, labels, eatables, cigarette covers. This game mostly played at outside the cinema theaters in rural areas and near beach side in Chennai.

India police arrest frequently people who play this game, mostly these players get caught red handed when the money kept for betting on table in front of two players.

This game requires two players and one deck of playing cards. The game usually starts by two people agreeing some specific amount for betting and money will be kept on the table, then the Player One mix the cards and ask the Player Two to pick one card from the deck. The number which the Player Two picked will be kept open on the table. Then the Player One will start opening each card from deck sharing in to two portions, one towards him (Player One "Ullae") and another towards to Player Two ("Veliyea"). So, when the Player One get the same number chosen by Player Two then he wins, if the Player Two gets the number, then Player Two wins. Whoever wins they take the whole money.

This game also played casually (No Betting) by children at home by collecting different brand Cigarette Wrappers and use that instead Playing Cards, but same method.
