Gabriella Miller is a ceramic artist. Her family has been designing and manufacturing fine hand made ceramics for five generations. Each year she produces dozens of distinctive and original new designs that are a reflection of traditional ideas in a modern world. Her passion is to challenge the way we look at ceramics and how we incorporate them into our everyday life.
Gabriella was born in the southern Hungarian town of Szekszard, famous for its clay and its potters. Her grandfather was one of Hungary's most famous potters who traveled the world demonstrating his craft. In 1958 he won a distinction at the World Fair in Brussels. Continuing her family tradition Gabriella has become a prolific designer.
In the last ten years she has produced over seventy registered designs which are all listed on the ACID design register and grace the homes of the most discerning customers. Pieces bearing the Gabriella Miller brand have been sold in some of the world's premier stores and hundreds dozens of leading independent retailers.
Most recently Gabriella has been producing exclusive designs for a number of prestige clients. Her fashionable and traditional shapes, colours and designs have been much copied but rarely equaled. If in doubt all Gabriella’s work carries her distinctive family crest, the wolf’s head.
