6pence are an Norwegian rock band formed in Trondheim Norway in 2020 by guitarist and vocalist Edgar Miknius, saxophonist and bass guitarist Jean Jacques Christian Georges Cantan and drummer Håvard Mjøen Forbregd. Their music styles have varied from years, everything from alternative rock to heavy metal, but in general the band mainly plays rock&roll as their main music genre.
Started as a cover band in Oppdal, Norway, they recorded their first single "Fading from my Life" that made a success on music streaming platforms as Spotify, with over 30.000 streams, and the most popular song to this day "Adrenaline Rush" with over 42.000 streams. Inspired by old legends such as Elvis Presley, Chubby Checker and similar artists, their third single release "Do the Groove" with its unique rock genre inspired from the old days (60`s) made it all the way to spotify`s playlist "Norsk Rock" that gave 6pence a lot of motivation to continue with the band.
6pence have in total released six single songs: "Fading from my Life (2020), Rise Again (2020), Do the Groove (2022), Fight for your Dreams (2020), Here to Stay (2020) and Adrenaline Rush (2021). Their first cover album (2022) that includes seven classics from 60s- to 90s such as: Rebel yell, Slave, Blue suede shoes, idyll, Heartbreak Hotel, Stuck on You and Sh-Boom . The band have at the moment played a few concerts in the town Oppdal and Trondheim, Norway.
