  • Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WMCN (FM) April 6, 2010. Licensed 5 watt US FM college station, off the air between terms.. Has held license since 1980. Keep Article improved and references added after AFD start. The index case as to whether "All federally licensed broadcast stations which originate a portion of their own broadcasting are notable."
  • Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/WYNR 1390 Radio Chicago. 1 February 2010. Was licensed in early 1960's, had refs from that period. Consensus was that a "station" can encompass different call letters, different frequencies, different formats, different owners over the years. Merge to WGRB. (Leaves WVON era of station as a separate article).



  • Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KTRN 4 January, 2010. Original article was about a radio program, or internet talk show, which may have aired for pay on some broadcast stations. Verifiability questioned. Notability questioned. Delete and replace with article about unrelated actual broadcast station with same call letters.

Sourcing was local paper stories about raids on station.Arguments that prosecutions of operators do not establish notability of station. Comments that "in the U.S., any F.C.C licensed station seems to be deemed notable" but that there is no guideline for British pirate stations. Keep


  • Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Radio Cordac 24 December 2009. Shortwave broadcast station in Burundi 1963-1977. Apparently unlicensed, but without objection of local government until the shutdown when licenses started to be required. Some references found. Keep
  • Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Release Radio 24 December 2009. "Radio" via cell phone service by Virgin Mobile, discontinued. People could dial a number and listen to whatever music was being played. Verified, but notability not shown by independent references. Delete


  • Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Static Radio (Ireland) 24 December 2009. Unlicensed Irish pirate FM broadcast station, operated intermittently 2000-2005. Comment in AFD: ..pirate stations are not granted the same general notability that a government-licensed broadcast station enjoys.." Comments that a pirate station satisfying GNG could be kept, but not shown for this one. Delete
