Exocious
editThe word Exocious has no English dictionary meaning...
Edo Izzi during a "ReConnect" retreat session used the word to describe himself and the life he longed to live.
Exocious ...... (God's perfect will, manifested in me...)
To have an understanding of what the word Exocious means to Edo Izzi, you have to understand Love. To understand love is to refer back to the creator of Love and the principles which governs life and the bible puts it best.
1 Corinthians 13:3-10 (New Living Translation)
3 If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. 8 Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! 9 Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! 10 But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless.
And to sum it all up living an Exocious life is what is known as living a fulfilled life and how can you quantify living a fulfilled life? Simply by obeying the two commandments that drive the bible as a whole:
Mark 12:30-31 (New King James Version)
30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
