In 2018 The team worked on music and did shows Edword dropped a song with international rapper from the UK named parsidon the collaboration was featuring Rogue and was not free.Things were going great until one of his close friends got shot and killed by police in angola with this Edword released a song titled (I am black) prod.by shinedopebeats in memory of his friend and bringing awareness on racial inequality and police brutality but this led to rogue not dropping any new music until late 2019.Edword dropped a new song in late 2019 on SoundCloud Titled ( wanna know) song was produced by (Mik3haibeats) and shortly after that dropped he released a music video as well which is now on YouTube doing well.

In an interview on kaya Radio in 2019 Edword was asked why he sounds so coloured when he spoke but so international on the songs he said : If u go live in America your whole life what would u sound like?? same goes for anywhere in the world I'm a product of where I grew up and that's Cape town but I don't forget where In come from but at the end of the day we all part of Rogue nation Rogue nation is Africa. He also went on to describe his music style as a mixture of everything he use to listen to growing up from R&B to hiphop to jazz music.I make music that most people can listen to and vibe to I got songs where I spit bars with a cool hook I got songs where i sound like Im singing because of the word placement and melody youll get lost in the things I say accompanied by a mellow R&B feel sometimes a jazz feel so I make music for me I don't make music for people I share my music but I makes music I like I don't follow trends said Rogue.
