Hans Louis Eicholz, Ph.D (born August 24, 1963) is an American historian and author who is currently a Senior Fellow for Liberty Fund, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was previously an adjunct professor of history and economics at the University of California, Los Angeles where received his doctoral degree in American history. He is best known as the author of Harmonizing Sentiments: The Declaration of Independence and the Jeffersonian Idea of Self-Government which he published in 2001. [1]
