Article Evaluation

  • Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
    • While there used to be more biased sentences regarding what the playoff win meant to Cleveland, they have been talk about and removed already in the talk page. It was very well laid out in a chronological order of each of the games. This game 7 entry is by far the longest and could be edited to be more concise.
  • Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added?
    • I would add that these two teams have faced each other twice more since this 2016 game
  • What else could be improved?
    • Information about the economic impact of the playoff games would be an interesting but I'm not sure if this is the correct article for that information to be placed.
  • Is the article neutral? Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position?
    • Biased sentences have already been removed according to the talk page
  • Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
    • No that I see. Both teams have equal sized descriptions and input throughout the whole article
  • Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article?
    • All of the citations I checks worked and support the information stated.
  • Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted?
    • Almost all of the sources come from recognizable and neutral sources including NBA.com, ESPN and the New York Times. Almost all of the citations deal with stats so there is not much room for bias. Even the quotes from players or coaches are cited appropriately.
  • What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic?
    • The only conversations on the talk page involve fixing an incorrect stat and removing bias from the article
  • How is the article rated? Is it a part of any WikiProjects?
    • It is rated a C level article and it part of a Basketball and a Cleveland wikiproject list
  • How does the way Wikipedia discusses this topic differ from the way we've talked about it in class?
    • Well we haven't talked about the 2016 finals game yet but I feel like when we do, it will be much more biased and we will talk about how the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead much more
