Walking and talking.
Member of the Epsilon_Iota at RPI. I helping oversee the bathroom renovation of the chapter house. Hopefully we'll keep this going continue the renovations until we complete the entire house.
I am currently practicing Aikido at the Albany Aikikai and am active in the RPI Aikido Club.
I have been known to play a couple of roleplaying games and am helping manage a wiki for one.
I have an ongoing (if considered eccentric) interest in Earthships and the reuse of energy in home and commerical use (preheating of hot water with waste water in the home for example). Currently I am interested in the idea of using heat pipes for refrigeration and adding heat exchangers to sewer lines to pre-heat water for a hot water heater as a person takes a shower. I am also looking at vacuum based refrigeration as used in Africa. Whether or not it is practical in New York State is (and in an apartment where I would get whooped on for trying it) in question.
I have tried my hand in homebrewing, with some success, and some odd infections. Sterilization is your friend. Wild yeast is not.
