By the sixth grade, he was writing his own lyrics and attempting to record with limited equipment—a simple old laptop and a malfunctioning built-in microphone. The EP featured collaborations with Mdot, TJ, and Marsosa and achieved remarkable success. Within 24 hours of its release, the tracks "VIP" featuring Mdot and "Turnt Up" featuring Marsosa received 48,000 and 52,000 views, respectively. The other tracks, "Big Splash!" featuring TJ and "First Day Out Remix," also performed well, contributing to a total of 200,000 combined views on YouTube.
