Vanessa Pierre Nassar, a Lebanese violinist, was born in Lebanon on January 9, 1994. Growing up in a musical family, she began playing the violin at the age of 9 with the help of her father who supported her throughout her career and accompanied her in her travels and concerts before tragically passing away in 2016.


Being passionate about music and especially the violin, her first appearance to the public was at the age of 12.


As years passed by, Vanessa’s passion and love for music grew deeper.


In 2014, she decided to participate in Arabs Got Talent and reached the semi-finals. Vanessa chose to pursue a musical education at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - Lebanon where she graduated with a Master's degree in Musicology.


Vanessa is a well-known artist in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the Gulf where she performed many times and caught the attention of several music lovers. She is known for playing a fusion of oriental and occidental music and has a unique way of mixing them both.


Her first official music video “VuSion” was released on July 8, 2019. What she thought at the time was a regular music video shoot, was actually from the get-go, a well planned marriage proposal from her fiancé the Lebanese director, Karam Nicolas Karam.


Besides being a performing artist, Vanessa is also a music instructor, teaching violin in many Lebanese academies.


Throughout the years, Vanessa has endorsed several brands and stores, being the face of many local and international lines. Most notably being appointed as Raymond Weil’s brand ambassador to Lebanon from 2017 to 2019.
