Elizabeth Coffman is an American filmmaker, writer and film scholar. Coffman has produced films and installations on literary, political and environmental issues with filmmaker Ted Hardin and their company Long Distance Productions. Her documentary Flannery co-directed with O'Connor scholar and Jesuit priest Mark Bosco (2019) was awarded the first Library of Congress/Lavine/Ken Burns prize for historical documentary. Coffman has written on documentary history and wrote the Long Distance Mom column for Inside Higher Ed.
