About meI am a paid employee of the Library of Congress, which contains the world's largest collection of law books and legal resources, with strong foreign law and comprehensive United States law collections. We are working to make our holdings, publications, and other resources more accessible to the public by engaging directly with Wikipedia. | ||
Conflict of interest statementWhen I am editing Wikipedia as part of my official professional duties, I always strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. Because the educational mission of the Library of Congress is in line with Wikipedia's mission to disseminate knowledge freely, I will not make edits that I do not believe are in accordance with Wikipedia's practices and procedures. Therefore, I will not make substantive edits to articles related to the Library of Congress or the Law Library of Congress as an organization (e.g. Library of Congress or Law Library of Congress), or its personnel. Instead, if I edit articles, they will be to contribute subject matter expertise, for example to improve articles about Library of Congress physical or digital holdings (e.g. THOMAS). The Library of Congress work on Wikipedia is being governed by internal guidelines. If you believe I have made an error or violated Wikipedia’s norms, please do not hesitate to contact me. My email is also listed on this page in case I am not regularly checking my talk page. |
