Philip Baldwin (born 1947, New York) and Monica Guggisberg (born 1955, Bern, Switzerland) are glass artists. They have been working as a team since 1980, and are best known for their use of an Italian technique called battuto, which involves the cutting of surface layers of the glass to reveal different coloured layers beneath.
