this is how you'll find me 8 out of the 16 hours I spend awake every day.

Entroponaut is a newbie Wikipedia editor hoping to create new articles very soon, as well as contributions to Spanish-language articles. Currently, they're doing small edits and reference fact-checking.

About me

edit

I'm a graphic designer by profession, with a wide variety of interests that range from things like physics and musicians to forensic psychiatry and jigsaw puzzles. My username comes from the videogame Disco Elysium. It's a beautiful neologism that I think applies to real life as well (aren't we all just navigating through the entropy that will eventually catch us?).

Wikipedia contributions

edit

I'm trying to thread carefully with my newfound interest in Wikipedia editing, since I know there's a delicate balance to be kept here. I did a lot of re-writing and translation for the spanish-language Mew (band) page, and have been trying to keep it up to date and improve it slowly. I've done a few English grammar and spelling corrections sprinkled all around, as well as fact-checking and finding references, but nothing too big.

This is, sadly, not the cap I own. But this image is one of my favorite photos on the internet.

I monitor pages of bands I enjoy, but since a grand majority of them have an incredibly good build (shoutout to the people who work on the Ghost (Swedish band) page, it's so well done!) I only keep an eye on correcting whatever quick edits are done with bad grammar or missing references.

The first page I'd like to create is for a videogame and visual artist named Mason Lindroth, but there seems to be not enough articles or written interviews that I can cite, which explains why the page doesn't exist yet. It looks like it'll be a longer-term task than I expected where I'll need to deep dive into watching livestreams, video interviews, and generally reading a lot from the creator himself. We'll see.

I always wear a Wikipedia cap when doing edits.
