The NCAA is well known for it's extensive rule book and their control over every aspect of a qualifying student-athlete's life. Therefore, it is no surprise that they have adopted their own policy. This policy clearly outlines all aspects of this major movement for athletes and starts off by stating, "First and foremost, core values of equal opportunity and inclusion demand that educational leaders adopt thoughtful and effective policies that enable all students to participate fully in intercollegiate athletics programs."
