History

edit

Born in Mobile, Alabama, Robin fell in love with acting at an early age. Shy in early childhood, she came out of her shell on the stage. In playing a character, she wasn't afraid of anything. She then fell in love with the art of acting, and studied everything about it she could. Acting in anything possible in church, school, and community theater, she longed for experience outside of her small home town of Saraland. While there, she passionately pursued acting and performed often.

Eventually, she would travel as far as nine hours away to Orlando, Florida to be a dancer with her sister in the Mickey Mouse Club, a show that was the debut for a lot of successful young musicians in pop and rock today. In her late teens, she moved to New York City to pursue her career aspirations in acting, writing, filmmaking, and music. Robin graduated in May 2002 with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.

Currently, Robin lives and works in Hollywood, California, where she attends the Black Nexxus studio to continue studies under Susan Batson and Greg Braun. Her first feature film, The Third Nail, opens in 2007. Her second film, Gaining the Loss, which she both wrote and is directing, is currently under production.
