Tyler Brooks was born in CA and raised in Camden, North Carolina. Avid baseball player and won numerous awards in high school. Scouted at just the age of 17 he started at 3rd base but majority of the time shined behind home plate playing catcher. First team all league, state championships, and was a prospect for the Atlanta Braves and Chicago White Sox in 2003.
After a collision at home plate he separated his shoulder and tore his rotator cuff and was not able to complete his 2004 senior season.
