This is the user page for Ester Wiesnerova, a young Slovak jazz singer and arranger and a student of Vocal Performance and Jazz Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Ester was interested in music since she was an infant thanks to her mother, who is a piano teacher, songwriter and performer. At the age of 14 she received a scholarship to a boarding high school of performing arts - Sukromne Konzervatorium v Nitre, where she was focusing on the combination of theatre, music and dance. She has been an active performer on the Slovak jazz scene since entering high school and became "the Best Newcomer of the Year 2010" in the competition New Faces of Slovak Jazz.
The connections between jazz, Slovakia and the U.S. are three topics she is currently interested in and would like to write about them in various concepts on the Wikipedia.
