...and studies. She was a leading member of the Los Angeles Psychoanalytic Institute.[1] She furthered her studies in child development until she passed away. She would study children from the ages of eighteen months to five years and how they acted or reacted, and their thoughts. After she passed away in 1975, the Hanna Fenichel Center was founded by San Diego Psychoanalytic by Society and Institute. The program's overview is "to create a nurturing community that supports each child’s growing sense of self and innate passion for learning...through social, educational, and artistic environments" .
