Night-Frights also known as "Night-Frights with Evelle" is a television show that is broadcast on various cable and local-access television stations throughout several states in the United States. The show began in 2007 in Conway, Arkansas and then later spread to other cities in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
The show is hosted by Evelle LeChat, aka Evelle Le Chat, "The Vixen of Vamp". [1] Evelle LeChat is known for her outrageous costumes and the fact that she sleeps in a coffin. LeChat can frequently be found appearing at horror conventions throughout the United States.
Night-Frights primarily shows public-domain classic horror and science-fiction movies, but has been known to air more modern horror movies, as well. Night-Frights episodes are aired on public-access cable channels, as well as the internet.
The episodes also feature humorous factoids about the movies, bloopers, and fake commercials touting such products as body-parts pizza and real estate for the dead.
Night-Frights is produced by Natural State Video Productions and Conway Corporation. The Executive Producer and Director is John Ary. The Assistant Producer is Joe Meils. The Costume Designs, Hair and Makeup are provided by L. A. Rose. The Writer is L. A. Rose. The Assistant Writer is Sarah Edwards.
Night-Frights won MIDI awards in 2008 and 2009 for Best Cable TV Programming for a Series from the Mid-America Cable Broadcasting Association. [2]
