Leftover tracks are songs that were recorded for an album and were possible selections to be included in the track listing, but did not make the final cut. Once the final track listing is announced and incorporated into an article, these leftover tracks are sometimes included in the articles as well. Unfortunately, leftover tracks are not suitable for the encyclopedia.
- The first issue with the inclusion of this information is verifiability. Leftover tracks are often unverifiable (no, blogs and links to file hosting services to illegally download these songs are not reliable sources). In nearly all cases, it's impossible to attain these files without breaking the law.
- Even if these tracks are verifiable, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. The fact that these songs exist does not automatically make them suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia; this content serves no purpose to the general reader.
