About me
I am a native of the Netherlands and have enjoyed living in the Bay Area since 2012. Before joining the Wikimedia Foundation in early 2014, I worked for the Dutch National Government as a Program Manager and Advisor for various Ministries. I lived and worked in the Netherlands, Spain, the USA and Bolivia. I love different languages and cultures and try to practice my English, Dutch, Spanish, German and French whenever I get a chance.

My work
As Senior Manager, Wikipedia Education Program, I lead the team and think strategically about the program. I work with educators, program leaders, and organizations from around the world to foster educational initiatives that contribute content to Wikimedia projects through classroom assignments and campus activities.
