Wikipedia experience
editI created the FLJerseyBoy Wikipedia editor account on Saturday 7 July 2007. Prior to this date I had never done any wikiediting (?!?) at all, under any account or from any IP. This user page is my first attempt at editing anything on WP.
Personal
editI live in northern Florida, USA. Professional skills include writing (both fiction and non-fiction) and computer/Web technology. Grew up as a developer for AT&T in the early 1980s; left the fold in 1991 to write a mystery (published 1992, now out of print); and have worked since 1993 as a database analyst and Web developer for a city in the area. Since 1997 I have co-written one book on HTML, and several books on XML-related topics.
All that said, I have never considered myself to be a "computer person" at heart. Nothing beats curling up with a good book, in a room free of the hum of tightly controlled electrons.
