==........... Prefered message conventions:

Inorder to keep message threads together and page clutter down...
—When you start a conversation thread here...
I'll answer here, but also bottom-post a one line courtesy message like:
"Hey I've just answered you 'about such and such'" message on your talk
(Usually with a link back to the section-- so it's quick!).
—If I've started a conversation on your talk page
... after you answer therein, just bottom-post an "Come to see my answer line "... here

—When your concern is about a debatable article content issue, and it seems likely the thread 'could' get lengthy, the best place to post your message is in the appropriate [Talk: article name] with a Notice + Link 'here' that you've done so.
... I'll 'answer there', in turn and also post a courtesy note that 'I've answered' on your talk, and so forth.
— In general, just keep me informed and I'll get to it ASAP and do the same for you.
Deal? Thanx, FrankB

If you've been around since Wiki was very small, and routinely expect me (or anyone) to check your talk to know you've gotten around to answering my concern without the courtesy of a brief 'DONE' notification post here, don't you think that's a little inconsiderate and a lot self-centered?
