Hi. I'm one of those guys who's been around for a while, and tends to make quite a few little edits, of no real importance, and generally keeps to the shadows. However, for reasons unknown to me, I've decided to create a Userpage, and poke at least a toe out of those shadows.
There's not a whole lot interesting about me that the userboxes don't tell you. I have an interest mainly in history and maths, although you'll never find me editting a maths page simply because the maths involved there is already far too complicated for me to possibly be able to expand on. However, contrary to these preferences, I've currently started my own project, which is simply to raise all Oceania Nations Cup pages to the level of detail seen in such pages as the World Cup articles. Or, as near as I can get to that, anyway. I have no idea why the ONC came to mind...I just came across it, looking distinctly bare, and decided to do it up. Should I complete this, (and I'm hoping it can be completed in a matter of weeks, judging by current progress, and the amount of time I spend on the internet), I plan to move onto other under-wikied football competitions. And should I finish this, I have my eye on the Succession box WikiProject, Monarchs being a great interest of mine.
Please, if you have any comments or constructive criticism about my progress so far, or wish to advise me on how to proceed, please do leave a comment in my UserTalk page. I'm willing to admit that all I'm doing here is making a clone of the World Cup pages (albeit with different details), which is probably not the best way of going about it, and I'm certainly willing to admit that I can make mistakes (copying out endless data does get a bit monotonous, and I do let things slip my notice), so if I've made any glaring mistakes, please tell me and I'll do my best to correct them. I'm also willing, infact very happy, to incorporate any ideas other people have, or extra information if you can provide me a url to take the info from. Just note that I'm by no means an advanced coder, and what code I use is largely stolen from other places and modified for my purposes, so I may not be able to figure out more difficult and complex things. That, or feel free to assist me in my quest to update all International Football competitions, I'm not stopping you.
