In this sandbox, I will present most recent climate data in several cities in Spain. Furthermore, I will also indicate the Köppen climate classification for this same period.
Climate classification in Spain in recent years
editIn recent years, especially in the last 5 to 10 years, there has been a considerable change in the climate in Spain, especially with regard to its classification. Several mediterranean regions (Csa) are transitioning to a cold semi-arid (BSk) or even hot semi-arid (BSh), while cold semi-arid regions (BSk) are becoming hot (BSh). BSh parts are transitioning to a hot desert climate (BWh). Other regions that are currently continental in the period 1991-2020 are transitioning to Cfb (Oceanic)/Cfa (Humid subtropical).
Seville
editKöppen classification in the last 5 years: hot semi-arid climate (BSh). Seville with a mediterranean climate Csa in the period 1991-2020 switches to a BSh climate
