Caroline Franklin is a professor of English literature at the Swansea University, a specialist in works by eighteenth and nineteenth century women. She is a Fellow of the English Association and a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales. She is a winner of the British Academy's Rose Mary Crawshay Prize for 1995.
