I am from Tampa, FL and a senior at Wash U studying biology and on the pre-med track. I like kayaking, sailing, swimming, snorkeling, and other water sports. I am on the Executive Board for Wash U's Blood Drive Leadership Team and involved with Wash U Students for Israel. I am doing research in the Myrsorekar Lab on bladder infections, the placenta microbiome, and transplacental transmission of Zika. Previously, I worked in the Moley Lab studying reproductive toxicology--specifically cigarettes-- and also the effect of Zika on male fertility and the testis and epididymis. Both labs are in the Wash U Center for Reproductive Health Sciences and the Department of Ob/Gyn. I also like politics, the band A R I Z O N A, and Netflix marathons.
