McDonel Hall

McDonel Hall is a residence hall on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Part of the East Complex of residence halls at MSU, McDonel Hall provides housing to almost 600 students, many of whom are international students participating in MSU's Study Abroad Program. With an emphasis on the appreciation of international culture, McDonel Hall is home to the International Language and Cultural Residenceon the fourth floor of East McDonel Hall, La Casa, a special Spanish language speaking floor, and the Arabic Language Instruction Flagship Program. Typically known for its more mature atmosphere, McDonel Hall provides housing for transfer students and students who have completed their first year in six coed-by-suite floors, including two quiet floors. McDonel also features music practice rooms, a fitness center, weight room, a Sparty's Retail Store, recreation area, sand volleyball court and a basketball half court.
