Wedu (also known as "Wedu Fund") is an award winning social enterprise which catalyses the next generation of female leaders by providing inspiring mentorship, for leadership development, and financial options to complete higher education.
Business Model
editWedu identifies young women with strong leadership potential in developing countries, provides them with funds to complete higher education and, most importantly, inspiring mentorship for leadership development.
As of May 2013, Wedu was operating in Cambodia, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Thailand, with expectation to expand operations in other countries focusing on Least Developed Countries in Asia.

Wedu also won two other competitions the D2Development Award, managed by alumni of the London School of Economics, International Development department and the CUE1k from Cambridge University Entrepreneurs.
