Filiberto Fernandez is the founding partner of Hogar Latino LLC, a publishing company that publishes casa y HOGAR, the largest Spanish language home magazine in the world. Prior to that, Filiberto was the CEO of GDA, a company owned by the GDA (Grupo De Diarios America), an Association of leading Latin America newspapers.
Mr. Fernandez has over 20 years of experience in international marketing and communications; he has developed and implemented marketing campaigns in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
Prior to joining the GDA, Mr. Fernandez worked in Madrid, Spain, at Antena 3 Television International as Managing Director. Prior to joining Antena 3, he held the position of Senior VP of Marketing and Sales for Telenoticias, a 24-hour television news network.
Additionally, Mr. Fernandez has an extensive experience in the US Hispanic market. He was the Senior VP of Marketing at Telemundo and Vice President of Marketing at Univision Network in New York City.
Mr. Fernandez worked at Castor Advertising in New York as Senior VP of Account Services handling the McDonald’s, K-Mart and P&G accounts. He was also the International Marketing Director responsible for Latin America and Europe for the Bank of Boston in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Fernandez received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Merrimack College in Andover, Massachusetts.
