Ongoing Projects
edit-Appalachian Mountain Project (AMP): A project whose goal is to research, revise, and correct articles on the small towns located in the southeastern Appalachian mountains, particularily those around POI's, or Points of Interest.
I define Points of Interest as any geographical, cultural, or industrial site where a historical, geological, environmental, or engineering feat has occurred.
Often, these towns only survive off of tourism: and their story can be quite interesting. It is often up to us: the writers and editors of Wikipedia to research these towns and areas.
-Lost But Not Forgotten Project: Abandoned areas of the southeastern Appalacians. Sub-project of the Appalachian Mountain Project.
