Farhan Shamim Khan, graduated from St. John's University, Jamaica NY with MS, M.Phil, and a Ph.D. His doctoral thesis was on Role of actin cytoskeleton in programmed cell death of salivary gland in Drosophila melanogaster. Currently he is pursuing a post doctoral research in Kimmel Cancer center in Philadelphia-working on Omi/HtrA2 protein which is suggested to play role in Alzheimer, Parkinson's and cancer. He is happily married with his wife Saulat, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Papa_in_DC_065.jpg) and live in PA with their cat Nemat.
