I am a stay-at-home dad, better know as Mr. Mom but with a few more skills than Michael Keaton had. Former law practitioner and professor. I decided to start editing Wikipedia as I hate to see how careless some editors are with using maintenance tags. I believe it is better to take the time to fix an issue as opposed to tagging an article. Too many people come to Wikipedia and careless use of these tags causes them to feel less comfortable with the information they are receiving. Tags have their purpose, but reckless use of them borders on disrupting Wikipedia.
Wikipedia is simple in my opinion...Follow the rules and no one gets hurt. Take the time to read and understand guidelines. ALWAYS assume good faith, help those who don't get it, and eat crow if you prepared it. If you make a mistake, fix it and don't be too stubborn to know your mistake and learn from it.
Stupid boxes I like to display
