I am a palaeontologist based in the UK. My research focusses primarily on animal-sediment interactions and the evolution of marine benthic ecosystems. I am also interested in the impact of heterogeneities (especially biogenic ones) on reservoir properties, and am currently working on this within the context of shale gas and carbon capture and storage projects.
I have recently set up a website - www.fossilhub.org - for information on fossils and geology. I am also a writer and photographer, and am happy for my Flickr photos to be used on Wikipedia articles with permission: http://www.flickr.com/photos/liamherringshaw/
