'Cameron Aston-Martin' Cameron Aston-Martin, the son of former Southampton FC player Simon Martin. Begun his footballing career at Portugeezers C.F in the Portuguese Third Division of U-18 football. He stunned hundreds of fans of his continued dedication to the club over numerous years.
At 15, Aston-Martin scored his first goal in a 0-1 win away at Multiple Scorgasms' who were top of the division at the time whilst The Portugeezers sat in 12th. Bottom of the table.
The youngster didn't necessarily keep the club afloat but his age certainly persuaded the club to hang onto him for future use. He tempted the big dogs at the top of the Portuguese Division 1 Clubs however he was reluctant to stay due to his loyalty to the club that grew him.
Ads the years went on Portugeezers had their first trophy in 2013 as they won the Division 3 Continental Cup and their next success was 2 years later as they won Division 3, 2 and then remained undefeated as they trumped the top flight and received U-21 Champions League Qualification. The team pulled together and went through the entire campaign without conceding a single goal. Keeping their Goal Against at a clean Zero.
Aston-Martin knew it was time to move on from the club that raised him as he progressed to Sunday League Side, Solent Town. The club decided that for Cameron to get game time he needed to develop his abilities a bit more so the club loan listed the U-21 Champions League Winner and he was quickly snatched up by Saturn Royale F.C.
Two seasons past for Cameron Aston-Martin as he played in total 41 games for the club scoring zero goals but providing 1 assist. He was quickly sold to Hedge End SA. Where the 21 year old suddenly re-lit his spark and scored a whopping 103 goals in his first season, breaking all current and previously held records at the club and quickly but not surprisingly became a fan favorite.
To this day, Cameron Aston-Martin still plays for Hedge End SA, and has played a total of 20 games, scoring 43 goals and providing 26 assists for his teammates.
