Fr. Jerin John, Adoor. M.Sc. (Mathematics); M.Th. (New Testament); M. A. (History), B.Ed. (Mathematics); Pursuing Ph.D at Senate Of Serampore College
Fr. Jerin John, Adoor is an Orthodox Priest of Malankara Orthodox Church from the diocese of Adoor- Kadampanadu, Kerala.India. After his schooling at Thapovan Public School and Junior College, Adoor and Dr. C. T. Eapen Memorial Residential Higher Secondary School, Sasthamkottah, Kollam,where he was the school topper in science batch, he joined at Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta Kerala for his Bachelor studies in Mathematics. He has completed his post graduation in Mathematics and joined Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam under Serampore University for his Theological Studies. He had completed his Bachelor of Divinity in 2015 and was ordained as a priest on 2016 March 2.After that he joined for Masters in Theology specialising in New Testament studies at FFRRC, under Serampore University in 2016- 2018 time period.He then joined for his Doctoral studies in 2020 at FFRRC in Kottayam with NewTestament as his special Studies. He serves in Adoor- Kadampanadu Diocese of Malankara Orthodox Church and served at Inchappara St. Gregorious Orthodox Church, Kilivayal Marrhashmooni Orthodox Church, Ezhamkulam North St. marys Orthodox Church, Anandapally St. George Orthodox Church, Koodal St. Marys Maha Edavaka and Chaplain of Besalel Convent, Sooranadu. He participated in the Congress Of Asian Theologians (CATS IX) at Indonesia in 2019 and presented papers. Also Participated in SBL conference at Chennai in 2017.He is now a student member of European Association Of Biblical Studies. (EABS). He is currently pursuing his Doctoral stiudies at Senate Of Serampore College.
In Secular Academic, he was a Mathematics faculty at Thapovan Public, School, Adoor in Kerala, MGM school in Halol Gujarat.He was a participant of Aswamedham, an educational programme of a famous channel in Kerala.
