Torres Tibagy is a bairro or district of the municipality of Guarulhos, Brazil. The district borders Centro, Gopoúva, Jardim Vila Galvão, Vila Galvão, Picanço and Tranquilidade districts, also located in Guarulhos.[1]
The district is cut in half by the city's ring road that connects Vila Galvão to Parque Cecap, where is located the Taboão–Vila Galvão stretch of the Guarulhos–São Paulo Metropolitan Corridor, with 12.3 km of length.[2] When completed, the corridor will be 20 km long, connecting the Tucuruvi district in São Paulo to Tabõao bairro in Guarulhos. The corridor is predicted to be used by more than 100,000 people daily.[3]

It's a mostly residential district. According to the 2010 Brazilian Census, Torres Tibagy had 7.018 houses with a total population of 20.019 residents, 10.660 of them being female and 9.359 being male.[5]
The bairro had a train station called Torres Tibagi, part of Guarulhos' branch of Tramway da Cantareira, from where the district's name comes from. The station opened on May 25, 1931, and was deactivated in 1965 alongside the rest of the railway. There are no photographs of where the station was located or how it looked.[6] The name was a tribute to Torres Tibagy, former chief engineer of the railway's branch.[7]
