Frank Forte has worked as an illustrator/concept designer for over a decade for such houses as Vivendi Universal, Comedy Central, Revolution Studios, Cry For Dawn, and Stagefright Studios, National Lampoon and Marvel Entertainment amongst others. Frank also wrote and illustrated the cult comic hit The Vampire Verses. In 1997, he partnered with Robert Steven Rhine to form FrankenRhine Productions. Together they have created several horror comic anthologies, screenplays and the cult animated pilot SICKCOM, which was bought by Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. Frank is currently the publisher of Asylum Press, a comic book and graphic novel house dedicated to cutting edge comics, trade paperbacks and lowbrow art. Currently Frank is employed at Renegade Animation as an animator and storyboard artist. While at Renegade he animated on two seasons of The HIHI PUFFY AMI YUMI SHOW.
Frank currently lives and works in Los Angeles as an animator and concept designer for TV and film. He holds a B.A. in Graphic Design from CCSU and has studied art and animation at The School Of Visual Arts, The Art Students League, Paier College Of Art, The Animation Academy and The Gnomon School Of Visual Effects.
