Franklin Shitaleni, affectionately known as North Side Rabbi is an established creative. He's a full time poet with pieces ranging from the fraternity of individual responsibility, psychological literature and African history, imbued in the desired Afro fusion thread. By day he's a Media Arts Lecturer at the College of Arts in Windhoek. He's also a Radio and Television Producer/Host on the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation.

He hosts two Television shows on the broadcaster, "Rooted" which is a theistic talk show for a target audience of 18 - 40. The nature of the show is a platform that's neutrally designed in the pursuit of religious expression without prejudice, he hosts and produces the show. He also hosts and partially produces "Rap Attack" another entertainment Television show that has a specific focus on the matriculation of Namibian Hip-hop as a genre and culture.

His first love is Radio Production which he posses a higher qualification and makes practice to that effect on NBC National FM, producing and hosting three shows. Mondays to Thursdays from 21h00 to 00h00 he's live on Radio for "Nite Moves" an entertainment show that has a fusion of infotainment and a much larger element of live music, creating a platform for Namibian musicians to propagate the perpetuation of their craft.

Fridays at 23h00 he produces and hosts "Freestyle Friday with Franklin" which is somewhat a sister program to Rap Attack only in Radio format, the show is strategically slotted for that time to allow for a much larger audience, the show preceding his is a collaboration effort between him and Hemel Besem, undoubtedly South Africa's biggest Afrikaans rapper, content is exchanged and played respectfully on their separate stations so as to promote African Hip-Hop.

Saturdays he hosts a breakfast show from 06h00 - 08h00, "The Morning Cup of Coco" which is a very nostalgic show to say the least with a plethora of soul from as early as it's first inception.

Sundays at 15h00 - 16h00 he produces and hosts an afternoon talk show "Frankly Speaking", the objective of which is to allude to the view that life is meaningful at the inhibition self restraint and responsibility, allowing for self tolerance and hence to the necessary elements of growth.

He Co-founded a Poetry platform that's bi-monthly active "Frankly Speaking - It's in the voice", the vision of Frankly Speaking is to create a lucrative culture for the craft and perpetuate local poetry beyond the bounds of borders.
