Hello!

I'm FDD, a thirty-something from Liverpool. I'm pretty new as a Wikipedia editor - since 2024 - but I have experience with academic writing.

Professional Interests

This isn't my duck, but I like the cut of his jib.

My qualifications are in the biosciences, and I hold an advanced research degree in stem cell biology. However, I don't (generally) work in this field anymore - I now do data science for healthcare.

Personal Interests

I collect fossils, particularly those of sea life. I brew my own beer, go to death metal concerts, and own an unhealthy number of CDs and books. I have interests in public transport - particularly rail and air travel - and in urban statistics. I'm also an avid Linux user.

Ducks are pretty cool I guess.
