Wikipedia contributor since October 2011.

I add and edit content primarily in my areas of interest but also can't resist making minor edits to pages I happen to be reading.

I will stop reading a page and make corrections for:

a grammatical mistakes,
spleling erorrs,
and,, punctuation!!!

I'm an advocate of the Oxford comma but know Wikipedia is a lost cause on that topic. I edit for it only to clear up ambiguities, mostly with compound lists.

I actively edit for gender-neutral, inclusive, destigmatizing, and person-first language.

I also edit for some of my linguistic pet peeves, such as "centers around." You can "center on" or "revolve around" but you can't "center around." That's a contradiction. I will stop and edit when I see it.

And don't get me started on "hot water heaters." Why would you need to heat hot water? It's simply a water heater. Thank you.
