Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty pageant promoting tourism, goodwill among all nations and a healthy image. Miss Supranational was born in 2009, with its first edition held in the city of Płock (Poland). The next two editions continued in this city, and in 2012 the competition travelled to the capital city of Warsaw. In 2013, the pageant went abroad for the first time; being hosted by the city of Minsk in Belarus.

The current Miss Supranational titleholder is Mutya Johanna Datul from Philippines who was crowned on September 6, 2013 in Minsk, Belarus.

History

Miss Supranational was born in 2009, with its first edition held in the city of Płock (Poland). The next two editions continued in this city, and in 2012 the competition travelled to the capital city of Warsaw. In 2013, the pageant went abroad for the first time; being hosted by the city of Minsk in Belarus.

The pageant winner is expected to be involved in international projects such as charitable causes as well as traveling the world promoting tourism, goodwill among all nations and a healthy image. which are also promoted during the pageant's broadcast. The delegates also take part in cultural immersion programs, sponsor visits and tours.

Pageant system

Miss Supranational pageant is primarily looking for young women to be fresh, with some modeling experience and photogenic qualities, as the titleholder will get jobs as a model for sponsors and companies. These women are pageant winners or chosen by national Miss Supranational directors from different nations.

During the pre-finals weeks, the candidates are evaluated on each activity and event they have. Preliminary interview and overall performance are needed to be part of the Top 20 semifinalists. In the pre-judging session, the delegates face the panel of judges for an interview. A panel of judges evaluates the finalists during the live televised final in the basis of stage presence, runway skills and overall beauty. The age limit is 18– 26 years old.
