Usage
editThis Citation Style 1 template is used to create citations for AllMusic.
- title: Title of source page on website. Displays in quotes
- last: Surname of author. Do not wikilink—use authorlink instead.
- first: Given or first names of author,
- authorlink: Title of existing Wikipedia article about the author—not the author's website; do not wikilink.
- last2: Surname of second author. Do not wikilink—use authorlink instead.
- first2: Given or first names of second author,
- authorlink2: Title of existing Wikipedia article about the second author—not the author's website; do not wikilink.
- date: Date of source being referenced. Can be full date (day, month, and year) or partial date (month and year, season and year, year). Use same format as other publication dates in the citations
- ref: ID for anchor. By default, no anchor is generated. The ordinary nonempty value
|ref=ID
generates an anchor with the given ID; such a linkable reference can be made the target of wikilinks to full references, especially useful in short citations like shortened notes and parenthetical referencing. The special value|ref=harv
generates an anchor suitable for the {{harv}} template. See: Anchors for Harvard referencing templates. - accessdate: Full date when the contents pointed were last verified to support the text in the article; do not wikilink; requires url; use the same format as other access and archive dates in the citations.
- class: Class of information. Value for this parameter corresponds to part of URL following "www.allmusic.com/". Examples (without quotes): "artist" (default), "album", "song", "work" or "explore".
- id: AllMusic identification number or string. Corresponds to part of URL following "artist/", "album/", "song/", "work/" or "explore/". Can omit the text before the actual ID with name of artist, album, etc. Example: The ID for www.allmusic.com/artist/led-zeppelin-mn0000139026 would be either "led-zeppelin-mn0000139026" or "mn0000139026". Can also use the entire end of URL, such as: "release/stone-temple-pilots-deluxe-edition-mr0002917004".
