Gynaecologist is a physician who practices Gynaecology as profession. A Gynaecologist offers specialised services in health issues relating to reproductive system,sex based issues,vaginal infections in addition to performing diagnosis,fertility treatments,disease and any cancers relating to ovaries and pelvic areas. Qualification and Training

A Gynaecologist needs to complete education in female reproductive system and related training in following areas before starting the practice[4][1]:

  • A four year degree in medicine in specialised branch from a recognised college or university.
  • Residency for four years.
  • Completion of written test based qualification exam.
  • Requisite experience in patient care in documentation.
  • Qualification in oral test based certification exam.
