I am an occasional editor at Wikipedia with a keen interest in historical accuracy, scientific exactitude, and sound logic.
Although my name indicates a disdain for technology (see Luddites I am actually a IT specialist and moonlight as a computer consultant). I have always been drawn to technology, especially logic systems. My concern with technology is the mindless embrace of the "new and shiny", the devoted embrace of "time saving devices" and the general obsession in industrialized society with "productivity" as the measure of success. Perhaps I am a fool. So be it.
If you wish to comment on this post or anything I have edited elsewhere in Wikipedia, please feel free to post a message in my talk page. Hasty, thoughtless, sloppy, and intemperate comments rarely make their point. More often than not they only cause ill will. (There seems plenty of that in the world as it is). If you feel strongly about an issue, take your time to formulate your ideas and craft them into a convincing argument. I wholeheartedly welcome well cited and researched comments.
