Dance Pop singer, Writer and Producer Leighton Geniuss Born December 3,1978 in Kingston Jamaica his given birth name Layton Shreves.
He Started singing at age 5 with two of his brothers steve and oral,
He Grow up in a family of 6 brother’s with mother and father, at age 2 his family move from Kingston to Portmore, attend Church every Week with their parents, The Geniuss is the youngest child, at age 8 he started writing songs and singing at Contest such as "Tastee Talent Contest" in 1989 with two or his brothers the group name was Royals which they win one of semi finals. They Recorded 2 songs in 1991 at Penthouse studio in kingston, "Hold me tonight" and "Happy Birthday." after which we stop doing music to focus on school. past student of Clan Carty High and St. Andrew Tech High in 1996 to 1998, he also join his school group " A few true men" with now gospel artiste Jai Kingston, Sean simms and Alwayne Allen, Bassy, Recording Artiste Warior King and Turbulance were Students also.
In 2006 He started doing background vocals for Warrior King on two of Jamaica's top Concert "Sting" 2006 and Reble Salute.
In 2011 he team up with artiste Di Pilot to do a Duo album title" Visability" which was a Classic album that show case his Reggae, dancehall skills, but he enjoy singing R&B , Pop, Techno. Presently working on Party Nation Album coming June 2021.
