Mubibbullah Khan was a District Chief in Afghanistan's southern Zabul Province who was apprehended by American forces in September 2005.[1] The Associated Press reports that he was captured on suspicion of being a Taliban informant. They report that he lived out most of the Taliban's administration in exile in Pakistan. They report that Mubibullah Khan believes he was falsely denounced by rivals.
Mubibbullah Khan was held for eight and a half months in the USA's Bagram Theater detention facility, north of Kabul.[1]
